It's been a long while since anything was posted here but we've started planning again for the year. We have three events lining up for this year for Connections ~ dates and descriptions are below:
1. Family Ball Hockey and Pizza
Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the church, from 10 am to noon-ish. We're going to play some kid-friendly ball hockey and have pizza for lunch. Cost is TBA.
2. Winter Wonderland
Outdoor skating and a chili dinner. This event will be in for families in January. We'll post a date by Christmas as we have to see if the outdoor skating pond will be ready and frozen solid!
3. Curling
This was so much fun last year. We're planning to have this event in February. This is an adult only event that includes a pot luck dinner and a evening of true Canadian curling. The cost last year was around $24 per couple.
4. Spring Fling
In April, we'll have a special event that'll knock your socks off. If you've ever been to a Ceilidh dance before, you'll know what we're talking about. If not, think typical square dance on steroids. The word "fling" here is not an exaggeration. Dates and details TBA.
